GROOMING POLICY
Appointment Times
Every appointment is booked for a set time slot based on the service requested, the dog’s size, coat condition and grooming requirements.
If a dog’s coat is matted, tangled, packed, or in poor condition, the booked appointment time may need to focus on safely removing the matting first. This can affect what is possible to complete within the appointment.
Coat Condition
Coat condition can change what is possible during the groom. If the coat is in poor condition, heavily tangled, packed, or matted, the groom may need to be adjusted for the dog’s comfort and safety.
Matted Coats
Matted coats can be uncomfortable for dogs and are not always able to be brushed out safely. In these cases, the coat may need to be clipped shorter than expected to safely remove the matting.
Extra Time & Charges
Extra charges may apply for matted coats, heavy coat condition, extra time, difficult coat removal, or wear on grooming equipment.
Grooming Results
The final groom will depend on the dog’s coat condition, behaviour, tolerance, and what can be done safely within the booked appointment time.
Safety & Behaviour
If a dog becomes too stressed, difficult to handle, aggressive, or unable to be groomed safely, the groom may need to be stopped. In this case, a charge may still apply for the appointment time used.
Booking Agreement
By booking an appointment, you understand that grooming results can vary depending on coat condition, matting, behaviour, and the time required to safely complete the groom.
